The Hounslow Ave Project in Willowdale West was a major renovation of a mid-century bungalow for a couple seeking a warm, flexible home. We opened the layout to create an airy oak-and-white kitchen, redesigned the foyer with a custom alcove and guest closet, and added a smart guest room with French doors—perfect for everyday use or private hosting. The bathrooms were fully upgraded with sleek wall-mounted vanities, smart toilets, and elegant Marbella Canada porcelain slabs. Furnishings were curated entirely from Crate & Barrel, with a focus on the Brigette Romanek collection, whose soulful, sculptural pieces brought depth and cohesion to the space. A thoughtful update that honors the home’s original charm while ushering in refined contemporary living.
